Fall Mini Sessions are back!!!!
It feels like fall has arrived without any warning! I’m not going to lie, I wasn’t ready for it. Just last week I was shooting my Summer Sunset sessions at the beach, but truth be told, it didn’t feel like summer anymore. The air was crisp and the breeze in the evening was chilly.

It was a gorgeous evening at Jack Darling Park. The air was warm, the sky looked like cotton candy and the lighting was PERFECT. What more could I ask for??? Did I forget to mention, my clients were amazing as well!!!! We had great session!
I gotta tell you guys, it feels so good to be back out there, shooting and documenting special moments and all your families again. To be honest with you all, I never realized how much I missed my clients until I started shooting again. When I’m shooting and working with my clients , life feels somewhat normal again, and in todays world that's huge!!!

Valentine Minin’s are in full swing around here. Spent my Wednesday morning with these two cuties. Big brother was awesome at helping to keep his little brother happy. We got some great shot of these 2!! Mom even managed to get into a few shots!

I had the pleasure of having this sweet little one in the studio for a Valentine Mini Session last week. We had a blast together and she loved my set, especially the balloons she got to play with. In our short time together I got to capture her spunky, sweet little personality and create some memorable keepsakes for mom, dad and family. Happy Valentine’s Day sweet, little one!!!!

It has been a while sine I blogged anything at all. What can I say? Life just got in the way. It’s not a good excuse, I know, but it’s the truth.
We have a lot of catching up to do my friends. There have been a lot of changes going on at Maggie D Photography. I am shifting directions with my business, now focusing on lifestyle newborn + family photography. I love working with families and their littles. I love to capture all the special moments from the beginning , from maternity to newborn sessions, which turn into yearly family sessions, and all the little milestones along the way. What can I say, I like telling your story.
Another piece of exciting news here at Maggie D Photography, cake smash sessions are now available all year round and we have some beautiful , modern, simplistic, neutral earthy sets available for you littles. I can’t wait to share some sessions with you .
Moving right along……The website got a re-do as well, or I should say it’s still work in progress but it’s getting there. Uploading all these new galleries takes a while . Who new? So much to do, and not enough time.
In the next few weeks you guys will be hearing a lot from me . Have to make up for lost time! HAHAHA!!! Lot’s of exciting new promo’s are coming up. I will also be looking for some models for my new promos, so keep your eyes open on social media if you’re interested. If you’re not following me on Facebook or Instagram, you should be!
Even though I haven’t been blogging or sharing much, I have been busy shooting and creating long lasting memories for families all year. The blog will be getting an update as well in the next month, so you guys will get an idea of what I have been up to this past year.
So there you have it, we are all caught up for now. Looking forward to working with some of my returning clients this year and hopefully meeting some new ones as well.

This summer, the weather has been amazing here in Ontario, making my sunset sessions a sweet success. I had a great evening with this awesome family. One of the biggest perks of my job is meeting new and amazing people on a regular. I love having the honour of providing these families with return tickets to moments otherwise gone. Their dearest friends arrived for a short visit from the West coast. What a great idea to have your 2 families photographed together and document this special time . Warm, sunny nights at the beach are my favourite!!!!! I had a great time with these 2!!!!! I really love photographing older children, and sadly it's a rare occasion. Parents, it's still so important to document your children and their milestones as they grow. They will appreciate it when they get older and have some photos to share with their own children. TRUST ME!!!!

Summer has finally arrived in Ontario and I couldn't be more happier. I love summer. It's my favorite time of year! I had such a great time with this awesome family. We fully took advantage of the famous golden hour and the beautiful surroundings!!!!! Our 30 minute session, quickly turned into a 1hr session, without any of us noticing!!!! I guess that's what happens when you're having fun!!! Thank you for allowing me to capture your beautiful family, you guys were a pleasure to work with!

These two tied the knot in beautiful, sunny Cancun, Mexico!!!! I'm not gone lie, I LOVE destinations weddings! They tend to set a more relaxed, easy going atmosphere, and that's right up my alley. This wedding was gorgeous! Everything about it, the little details, the bride, that dress, her handsome groom, the locations, the weather, the food, the list goes on and on. Wishing you both a lifetime filled with love and happiness and thank you for allowing me to capture one of the most important days of your lives. It was truly an honour!
