So Julian got to stay home today as he wasn't feeling the greatest( can you tell?) ,so I grabbed my camera and of I went to watch him shoot some hoops as he puts it..... Of course he was wearing his shades!!! He sure is determined........He gets that from his mama!!! Hope you enjoy the images peeps......

Every year friends and family gather to honour Ty Howard . His friends and family host a charity hockey tournament in his honour, to raise money and awareness about mental illness. Each year this tournament gets bigger and better. This year alone they have raised over 23,000 for Mental Health Awareness. AMAZING!!!!! I am truly honoured to be a part of this event every year. This Easter weekend was a great one.... The weather could have been better but hey....... We made the best of it..... The kids had a blast painting eggs, doing their easter egg hunt, and most of all they really enjoyed our nature walk at Cherry Hill Park , near the RGB. The goal- trying to get the birds to eat out of our hands:) Mission accomplished!!!! Mila and I both had birds eating out of the palm of our hands and Julian and Isac enjoyed hand feeding the chipmunks..... Didn't realize how cool Cherry Hill Park actually is and I live 10 minutes from it.... Well now we know, and I'm sure with the nice weather approaching we will be feeding birds and chipmunks again very soon.... Hope you all had a great Easter weekend and got to spend it with your loved ones just like I did.....

Two weeks ago I had the pleasure to accompany my friend and fellow photographer Heather ( From The Heart Imagery) on a newborn TWINS shoot.... I was soooooo excited.... I have never photographed twins before and was really looking forward to it..... These two were amazing to work with...... They slept the whole time, and while one was feeding the other was getting his/her solo time infront of the camera.... I have know these two sweet boys for 3 years now and I can't believe how big they have gotten in this short time. This was my fist time getting the opportunity to capture them in an official session..... I do have to say I was quite surprised by how much they enjoyed being in front of the camera... This little cutie paid me a visit last week in the studio to ring in the big ONE..... Those gorgeous big brown eyes had me mesmerized and those lashes ...WOW!!!!! SO ....... It cost me a sleepover with one of his buds, but I got my little VDAY shoot from Julian..... Bribes seem to always work in this house, and sometimes you have to do, what you have to do to get things done..... I love shooting my own kids... There are no rules, no high expectations, just me , him and my camera..... Tonight he was so excited about his sleepover that he co-operated, and my wish was his command...... He even had his favourite poses and facial expressions all ready and planned out.... Gotta love him!!!!! My little boy...... My Valentine!!!
